This website is operated by The 7th Project Association, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization incorporated in the State of Alabama, Tax ID 46-2047601. Throughout these terms, “the Association,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The 7th Project Association, and “you” refers to anyone who visits or uses this site.

Photographs on this site may include images of program participants, interns, volunteers, donors, and community partners. If you appear in a photograph and would like it removed, contact us and we will address it.
The Association accepts gifts online, by mail, and by phone, as described on the Support page. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. The Association does not provide tax or legal advice, and you should consult your own advisor about the deductibility of any gift.
Online gifts are processed by a third-party payment provider, not by this website. Your payment details are handled under that provider’s terms and privacy policy, and the Association does not receive or store your full card or bank account information.
Gifts to the Association are generally final and non-refundable. If you believe a gift was made in error, or in an incorrect amount, contact us promptly at Whitney7thProject@gmail.com or (334) 233-7157 and we will work with you in good faith to resolve it.
Unless we state otherwise in writing at the time of your gift, contributions are unrestricted and the Association’s Board of Directors allocates them to the programs and operating needs it determines best serve the mission.
Information on this site about the Congressional Internship Program is provided for general purposes and does not constitute an offer of a placement, a stipend, housing, or employment.
Submitting an application or an expression of interest does not create any agreement between you and the Association. Selection of interns, and any award of a stipend or housing support, is made at the discretion of the Association and subject to available funding and the stated eligibility criteria.
Internship placements take place in offices that the Association does not own, operate, or control. The Association is not the employer of any intern placed through the program, and is not responsible for the terms, conditions, or conduct of any placement office.
This site links to websites operated by others, including government offices and community partners. Those links are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites, we do not review or endorse their content, and we are not responsible for anything they publish, collect, or do. Your use of a linked site is governed by that site’s own terms and privacy policy.
The contact form on this site collects the name, email address, phone number, and message that you choose to enter. We use that information to respond to you and to keep a record of the request. The form is protected by an automated challenge from Cloudflare, which helps us screen out abusive submissions.
Please do not send sensitive personal information, such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information, through this site or by email. Email is not a secure medium and we cannot guarantee the security of anything transmitted to us.
We do not sell the information you send us. We may share it with service providers who help us operate the site and our programs, or where we are required to do so by law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages. Where that is the case, the limitations above apply to the greatest extent the law allows.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Association, its directors, officers, volunteers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your misuse of this site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the version in effect, and the “Last updated” date above tells you when it changed. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Montgomery County, Alabama are the proper venue for any such dispute, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
